I’ve started packing for the big trip! I think someone has stolen all my undies because I’ve counted 6 pairs of knickers and 4 pairs of socks so far, and my mum swears she’s washed the lot. Own up who has been coveting my pants?!

I’m in a constant state of extreme excitement at the moment because this time next week I will be in Shanghai! I have been saving up for a year and have blown my life savings on this trip so it has to be perfect. I’m sure it will be though, I’m in absolute love with the country, the culture, the people, its history and its languages. I know China has a reputation for terrible human rights but there is so much more to it than that.
I’m going to write a journal this time (something which I regretted not doing when I went to Beijing and Xian) and probably upload all of my photos to an online album. I may be the only one looking at them but I must record more this time.
