photoshop disasters

PhotoshopDisasters is a great blog showing commercial photoshop mistakes. I personally can’t do much in photoshop, cropping and fixing up the auto-levels is my limit but I don’t do it for a job. Seriously people, check your work over! My C is a whiz at photoshop (I am biased) but he really is good at it and it is his job.

yes to carrots

yestocarrots.jpg

I’m enjoying using the C Through the Dry Spell Deliciously Rich Body Butter from yes to carrots. The body butter is indeed delciously rich and moisturised marvelously without being too oily. My only minor gripe is that it smells like aftersun cream, which you may or may not like. What’s great about the brand is that they are parabens and phthalates free. Included are lots of yummy natural ingredients like beta carotene from organic fruits and vegetables, Dead Sea minerals and extracts of pomegranates and algae. The body butter is priced at £6.99 for a 250ml tub.

Yes to carrots has just launched in some Boots and Debenhams stores in the UK.

wall·e

We went to see Wall.e at the cinema last night and it’s fantastic. Possibly the best animation film I’ve ever seen. It’s so heartwarming and cute and funny. Even his pet cockroach is cute. I just want to see it again and I never want to the same film again so soon. It’s an absolute must-see!

Red panda news: two red pandas have been born at Knoxville Zoo
In honor of the new red panda cubs, the zoo is hosting a ‘Name the Red Panda’ mascot contest. Details on how to enter the competition is on the zoo website here. The contest winner will receive a zoo birthday party for 20 people with a visit from the new red panda mascot. I’d enter but I’m nowhere Knoxville to get a visit from a lovely little red panda.

bride’s procession

We are trying to sort out the remaining details for the wedding ceremony but I’m so stuck on choosing my processional tune. I know I definately don’t want “Here comes the bride” (all fat and wide, here comes the groom skinny as a broom) and nor do I want that other famous tune from the Midsummer Night’s opera. They make me want to boke. I also don’t want Canon in D by Pachelbel . It’s a nice tune but everyone has it. I’ve trawled through samples of every piece of classical music know to woman – Vivaldi, Bach, Handel etc but I juct can’t find the right one. I was considering Enya’s Only Time or The Flower Duet by Delibes but C said everyone would think of the advert for British Airways.

Anyone have any good ideas?
