I was supposed to be at the doctors today for a fast blood sugar blood test. They think I may have hypoglycemia so I need a blood test before I eat any food in the morning. The bus arrived so late that I missed my appointment and I have to wait another week for one.

I’m so sick of the X84 bus either making me late for work and appointments or just not turning up that I have made a blog dedicated to it The Nightmare of the X84 bus. Each time there is something wrong with the bus I can log it and then after a while I shall email the bus company. I realise it’s not the most exciting blog and I hardly expect any readership but I have to do something. It really does wreck my life this bus and it’s the only one that I can get as I live in the middle of nowhere so I have no choice. It’s dirty, late and expensive and I expect a better service for my money.

We went to Leeds and finally found the China town which only really had a supermarket. It had lots of funny things in it and I spotted a ion health drink called Pocari Sweat! I bought some Great Impression Health tea which is supposed to make you lose weight…I wish.

Went to a branch of Nandos, which seems to be mainly a chicken place, but we ate vegeburgers. They make you choose a level of spicyness to go on your burger and even the chips seemed spicy to me. eww. The seater and greeter seemed to have taken too many pills in his life and said to us, “We are running a bit slow tonight because it’s all gone a bit Pete Tong”. (= wrong)

The Year of Monkey starts with the Chinese New Year on Jan. 22, and underwear with a smiling Funky Monkey design is a big seller for both men and women.

Jeannette Cheong, owner of the underwear store Butt-On Trendy Undies, says she’s sold more than 1,000 pairs of the novelty skivvies.

She says women buy the underwear for their husbands because the monkey is a sign of sexual potency. Other women by monkey panties for themselves, to spice-up their sex life.
